Here's a meme of Dia (Thing) Vargas.

Okay, since my previous meme was rather shitty, I decided to redraw, rethink, and reanalyze Dia as a character.

-Her (adoptive) father is head of a Science team that specializes in Life Science. They work in the field of Modern Evolutionary Synthesis.
-When the Science team went out into the Antarctic, they found Dia, but not the humanoid like Dia but a small parasitic alien in-cased in a block of ice. They do not know how long she's been there.
-Dia was never supposed to be who she was now. She was supposed to be an experiment; called #10895. She was the experiment of Dr. Vargas; where he spliced his DNA and her DNA to see if inputting human DNA would in a way change a animalistic creature into something more human. Seeing how evolution worked.
-As days and months past by Dia grew and appeared more and more humanoid. The more Dr. Vargas interacted with her and she showed signs of humanity, he became more and more attached.
-He even decided to name her Diana and use his family name Vargas.
-After the incident during the process of domesticating Dia, Dr. Vargas chose to adopt her. He wanted her to have a normal life and couldn't bare to see her as a test subject any longer.
-So yeah, Dia is living with Dr. Vargas whom she calls papa.
-And incase anyone is curious Dr. Vargas is half-Italian and half-Mexican. He likes to wear dorky sweaters, forgets to eat a lot and is married to Science. He's pretty down-to-earth and can't cook to save himself, so Dia takes care of him a lot. She's kind of like his parent and he's the child.

I really love the image of Dia getting hit with the ball- it's so very funny to me I don't know why.

you know, I always love learning more about your characters. Not only are you a wonderfully talented artist with an amazing ability to draw such expressive eyes and faces, but you have a brilliant mind with such interesting stories.

Uh, sorry, with that little bit of fangirling out of the way here's an actual comment on the picture xD

I feel so bad for Dia with what's happened in her past (as well as what you told us about will happen in her future) but I'm also so happy for her because she has people in her life that care so much for her and are there for her despite those issues. She's a sweet character and you did a wonderful job displaying her personality in this. Thanks for all the additional little facts in the description it was a nice additional bit of info :)

Aw, well, I meant every word of it. I'm always so excited to see you've posted up something new <3 (even if sometimes I get lazy or busy and it takes me forever till I can actually comment on it since I do like to give detailed comments and all <3)
